300 degrees??? Empty 300 degrees???

Post by Bill_G 15th June 2024, 1:00 am

I had several youtube tabs open. Listening to a song and decided to download it at the same time. Done it many times.
I'd just learned about the temperature warning thing with the loud 'ding'.
I'm thinking 300 should have fried the Ryzen with stock cooler.
Rebooted and bios said 50C which is what? about 80F?
My other computer with a fully functional Ryzen and liquid cooling stays below 100F.
Anyway, 300 doesn't see right to me. Any thoughts?

That was just a warning that the cpu spiked at that temp and not the actual running temp unless it keeps on warning then that would be something to be concerned about.
