See screenshot attached - (4) proceeds the titles on the tabs here in FF ESR both on my PCLOS DE and Linux mint. Mercury is not showing (4). Anyone else using FF getting this?

No. Install net-tools package and run sudo netstat -peanut for seeing what is running.

After going through all sorts of cookie clearing, not syncing FF between the different installs, etc. I just noticed that Notifications upper right side also showed (4). Doh. I cleared the notifications and the page title tabs no longer show it.
