<Solved> Firejail in Firefox. Empty <Solved> Firejail in Firefox.

Post by mutse 9th November 2024, 5:51 pm

@ Forum Members,

I want to use Firejail for Firefox.
Where do I put this ( path reference) in Launcher Properties of Firefox ??

<Solved> Firejail in Firefox. Select10

?? -- Or should I, every time, open Firetools and only then start Firefox from there ??

P.S.: The intent of implementing Firejail in Firefox does not allow outsiders into the Homemap (the Homemap is not approachable in this regard), only the download folder can be accessed.

Would like clarification and help with this.
Thanks in advance.

Regards,
mutse.

@ Upgreyed,

Thanks for the suggestion.
Starting Firefox.ESR with Firetools works but accessing/opening a website does not work (hmmm ...can't find this website...).

Code:
 opa@debian-tecra-s11:~$ firejail firefox

Parent is shutting down, bye...

Using Firejail will not be able to do this.
So be it.

'well, that's just the hardest thing for me -- mainly due to ignorance in that area (making adjustments in a script) ...
